Jo Hamilton…. having a yarn

Jo Hamilton loves to have a yarn as long as it can be turned into a larger than life portrait crocheted in you guessed it … yarn. In her art Jo uses a traditional basic crochet technique taught at an early age by her Grandma. Working one knot at a time, from the inside out, row by row working directly from photographs, using no sketches, graphs or computer imaging…. pretty impressive stuff! Each piece is instinctively composed, handmade & labor-intensive.
