Completed in 2011 by Sprenger Von Der Lippe this contemporary house boat sits quietly at it’s mooring amongst the trees on the picturesque Eilbeck canal Germany. The design challenge was to create a boat house that purposely refrained from making the mobile boat house look mobile. Large scale windows not only provide a great vantage point from within but also reflect the surrounding vegetation once again reducing its overall appearance. The simple materials selection and decks once again connect the interiors and the occupants within it’s natural surrounds. Breathtaking ….. I know.
