FRANK ROOP.. yes …… very cool!

The designs of Frank Roop could be described as luxurious, refined, calm perhaps even minimalist in their execution. Above all else, however, they are just plain cool. Built on a neutral palate, his interiors exude the personality of each client through the meticulously sourced pieces and the belief that everyone has their own style if given help to discover it. Starting his working life in a men’s specialty store, Roop’s eye for detail is evident in every object and material he specifies, from a Saarinen chair to an antique Indian side table, contemporary art, great slabs of quartz and always, always, velvet.  This aside, Roops’ overriding characteristic is his unreserved talent for combining different styles, textures and those wonderful colours of his to create lush spaces that are a visual feast and yes, very cool!
