under the influence of Bauhaus

Bauhaus has had a profound influence on Brazilian architecture with many of the great designers across Brazil embracing it’s modernist design style. Set on a premier golf course sits the epically proportioned offering by Studio Arthur Casa. The inspiration for the project was to connect interior and exterior living zones. The public zones are open to the vista’s however the bedrooms are fitted with a retractable perforated metal skin similar to Australian architect Sean Godsell’s projects offering on demand privacy. The fully retractable glass walls and reflection ponds successfully blur the line from indoors and outside whist the crisp white walls frame the views perfectly.
