The tree house by Susi Leeton
Tree House by Susi Leeton is a celebration of all things natural richly textured timber surfaces line much of the house’s internal spaces, contrasting beautifully with the contemporary furniture whist an old peppercorn tree that sits on the properties edge is framed by glass sliding doors. A highly practical approach to storage and joinery, including places to hide objects of life to reduce the necessary clutter of family life. The brief was to create a number of family spaces within and beyond an Edwardian house, including 2 studies and 4 bedrooms. The new part of the house was to respect the Edwardian brick house but have its own identity which is achieved perfectly.
