the ACE hotel New York
Timothy Goodman is a designer, illustrator, art director and a mentor at Big Brothers Big Sisters (something I too once did and loved) . More recently, Timothy worked in-house at Apple Inc where he helped integrate Apple’s visual language, domestically and internationally, across third party environments, retail stores, events and campaign launches. He has created a variety of illustration work which has appeared in The New York Times, Time and Wired. Recently Tim was commissioned to create a wall mural for the Ace Hotel in New York drawing 99 picture frames to create a dense wall of ‘discovery’ about New York City for the common tourist staying in the room. Each frame contains a different fact, love, thing, tidbit or place Tim loves in the city. Created to be imperfect representing the spontaneous nature of the city paying homage to the city in black and white.
