The Unpredictable Mexican

Canalla restaurant by Manifesto Futura wanted to show thier traditional fast food, the taco, as a Mexican taco joint a walking ranger would stop for. Working with raw materials and a following their minimalist signature design Manifesto Futura created the Naming, Identity & Interior design for Canalla. Focusing on high quality design guests are greeted by a large wood door at the contemporary exterior of the taco shop. Inside, Dark painted walls, unfinished wooden counter-height tables with stools, tiny potted plants, and custom made bottles hold different hot sauces each carefully branded. Gonzalez and Garcia designed the business cards, menus, signage, and interiors all to be cohesive in style, without being predictable. Every little detail has been carefully considered making what seems to be a paired back retailer quite the opposite.
