Danish summer house
When architects Martin and Mette Wienberg designed their Danish summer home their aim was to create spaces that are broken up into different styles in order to entertain all the family’s moods and desires. The 200m2 home is bathed in natural sunlight which filters in via large glazed openings also framing the views outside. The materials pallet treads both the industrial chic card and warm and cosy cabin. It’s this perfect balance of timber clad walls and ceilings grounded by the natural beauty of polished concrete juxtaposed by the vivid white walls and floors. Sophisticated, uncluttered, warm and inviting this is a little masterpiece of great design.
