Doheny Drive … Jean-Louis Deniot

Oh, Jean-Louis Deniot… it’s impossible for me not to feature his work when I see it. There is something about the calm, sophisticated and confident interiors he produces that draws me in every time. These latest images come from a project in Los Angeles and display Deniot’s signature style of muted tones, expressive textures and stand-out furniture pieces. As we’ve seen from previous projects featured, Deniot is a master in transplanting his style around the world and manages in each project to be gracious to the homes location while still ensuring his signature flair is evident. The wonderful thing I find about this project is his reaction to relaxed Californian living. Although the look is grand there is a languid air in the furniture arrangement; nothing is set up in a stuffy or formal manor and appears as if it has fallen into place by happenstance rather than an overriding furniture plan.

This project affirms that I would happy live anywhere in the world, as long as it was in a Jean-Louis interior.
