Signature Style

An interior designer’s own home really is their signature. Here, in the home of Fabrice Ausset, this is certainly the case! In his own home, Ausset was able to literally do whatever he liked and knowing exactly what he wanted he set about amassing an incredible collection of furniture and objects and creating a home that was as much about restraint as it was about his style.

Though bright colours reign throughout, they are balance and work and are surprisingly not garish. It’s not a case of colour for colour’s sake. The furniture too, though bold, is considered and despite the fact that within one room there may be several different artistic periods represented the narrative of the room is cohesive and composed.

Ausset has created in this apartment a pure expression of his style and while there are many many beautiful things I want in this apartment, if I had to chose one thing is would be the stunning faceted cantilevered coffee table in the sitting room – I WANT!
