Beauty and Design

With approximately one thousand square meters of white Carrara marble flooring it’s no wonder that the new Aldo Coppola salon is spectacular!

Located in the design epicentre of Milan Italy, this new wellness and beauty space for woman takes an outing to the salon to the next level.

Custom printed mosaic tiles by Trend Group have been designed to bring to life the brand’s historical L’oreal calendar images.  The black and white images around the central column create a dramatic effect along with the oversized mirrors which act as a division between the cutting stations.  What’s even more special is the carefully considered illumination of these mirrors which pose magical reflections against the highly polished floor.

While this store design might not be everyone’s cup of tea,  it’s hard to deny the shire brilliance behind the designer Anton Kobrinetz. The simple black and white colour palette brings a sophisticated elegance and the splash of red injects a slight hint of the brand.

Lighting has been cleverly used throughout to create ambiance.  A more subtle and subdued mood is evoked in the beauty areas through the use of dim coloured lighting, whilst the hair and retail sections have been well illuminated to highlight the products and heighten the sense of theatrics.

In an environment where beauty reins it is certainly essential that this is reflected in the interior.  The quality of finishes and the implementation of great design have seen this salon achieve this and more.
