Caffe What If

The converging of two parallel disciplines within the one place is the basis of Caffe What If located in Bangkok, Thailand. This delectable space is the brainchild of renowned graphic designer Pomme Chan whose love for design and food has been fused together to create a showroom and café.

Scatted throughout the dining space are elements of Pomme’s illustrative talent, from the graphics on the shopfront to the cushions, tableware and upholstery. The bold designs influenced by the animal kingdom draw presence as a wallpaper backdrop to the seating area.  Striking fabrics cover the banquette seats within the interior and along the shopfront windows.

Polished concrete floors and a raw timber counter give the essence of the natural world that Pomme is inspired by.  The black metal cross bar shelving units are off set by simple white block work walls and pine crates used for displaying of smaller objects. A project that took just over 3 months, we are amazed at the warmth and ambience Pomme Chan and her team have managed to injected into every nook of this interior!
