Ritto House purest perfection

We love the unexpected, located in Shiga, Japan the recently completed  Ritto house is small detached residence set on a rural landscape. Designed by Alts Design Office the project aim was to create a fully functioning home that is purist in its approach whist creating a small comfortable space. A large glazed opening serves like a veranda looking out to the south side of the rural landscape providing natural light and connection with the surrounding paddocks and sky. The use of pure unstained timber was selected to bring comfort to the interior space in both the furnishings and the build resulting in purest perfection.
