Suited Up

What do you get when you mix white gloss square tiles, chipboard and concrete?  An uncomplicated palette of finishes!  This is exactly the direction HAF Studio took when developing the latest Suit store recently opening in Reykjavik. These simple finishes have been cleverly used to create a striking interior space which rings true to the brand’s ethos of “tailored finess meets technical craftsmanship”.  The gloss tiles seem to creep through the space, finishing at random heights and spilling onto the floors to highlight certain areas. Polished concrete covers most of the floors and walls and chipboard has been used to add warmth and texture to the joinery, walls and ceilings.

Just the right amount of colour has been added with random splashes of citrus orange used on joinery elements. It’s clear that the brand has a personality with quirky phrases speaking haphazardly to customers as they navigate through the four floors. We just love the neon sign that’s nestled amongst the white tiles and the custom made black pendants over the counter. The refined rawness of the space has brought this Danish brand a unique shopping experience unlike any conventional clothing store environment.
