Kips Bay Decorator Show House New York City

Another day, another decorator show house. Well, may not just another, this time it’s the Kips Bay Decorator Show House in Manhattan and as the images show it is breathtaking. The show house continues to be an inspirational articulation of what is possible in interior design as designers unleash their inner fantasies that most clients would usually run screaming from.

As always, the list of designers participating this year are a roll call of the finest: Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Carrier and Company, Ingaro Inc. to name a few. If I were forced to choose a favourite among the designs the stunning Ron Arad fireplace in the living room by Ingaro Inc. would have to be at the top followed closely by the blue walled Mendelson Group lounge room. (But really I love them all).

The Kips Bay house aims to “raise critical funds for much needed after school and enrichment programs for New York City children.”
