OITOEMPONTO couture

Artur Miranda and Jacques Bec, from the OITOEMPONTO agency are pleased to present “Nossabossanova”, their first limited edition collection of “couture” furniture.

Inspired by Brazilian Brutalist architects, the collection pays homage to Lucio Costa, Salvador Candia, Paulo Mendes da Rocha, and Lina Bo Bardi … whose work Artur and Jacques were able to admire in Sao Paolo. Hues of green, black, white are used to combine rosewood, leather, marquetry, lacquer and metal, explored in a sublime collection composed by furniture and lighting pieces that perspire refinement and luxury.

Such are the numerous materials that are embellished and enhanced by these two talents, who have been involved in design projects and architecture in Portugal, where they are based and also in France, the United Kingdom, Angola, Brazil and worldwide, for more than 20 years.
