Christiaan Georgio Melbourne

Christiaan Georgio “Melbourne” is reflective of an era of luxury and glamour from the get go! Upon arrival I felt I was entering a space of impeccable design and taste. True understated elegance inspired by the 70s Gucci and Tom Ford collection, masculine, dark, retro features of the 60’s & 70’s channeling “Tom Ford, a single man”. Movements in glamour, women and the discovery of tongue in cheek cleavage revival.
Christiaan Georgio is internationally renowned coiffure artisan working from movie sets of Madonna films to runway Georgio Armani, Celine Dion to dignitaries and politicians from Clinton to the British Parliament. Not bad for a boy from Oz!
Located at The Grand Hyatt Melbourne Australia, the heady mix of leather clad walls, custom designed lighting, maccasar timber and brass fittings are right on point. The collaborative design of BlackMilk and Christiaan Georgio exudes luxury and presents an experience for the sensors. The command area doubles up as a greeting coffee and cocktail area, the secret Marshall amplifier which turns into a hidden fridge and exposes the champagne bottles lay loved for its guest.
The 200 kilo sculpture installed on a double reinforced wall representing C.G background in a form of a hand pieces of bronze cast fish by the title of “Entrapped Fish”is softly lit.
Signage and brand placement within the salon is non existent allowing the interior stand strong.
