from here to infinity
Located in the beautiful landscape, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, between El Portixol and Cala Blanca, the Sardinera House by Valencia-based practice Ramón Esteve Estudio sits proud on the top of a hillside, flanked by turquoise waters.
The original idea for the design was based around enhancing the panoramic views by creating a relaxing contemplative environment. Upon entry the architecture engages contact with the horizon via double height volumes and white concrete walls. Vegetation is introduced in the in-between spaces, bringing the garden into the house. Each room opens towards the horizon through its own veranda.
The first floor hosts the bedrooms each with to die for views, the glass corners of each bedroom capture panoramic views. Each room has a small glass balcony, similar to a bay window, set back of the boundary of the cantilever, so to enhance the visual importance of the horizontal surfaces. Designed for total relaxation all year round dual swimming pools follow the theme of water and light throughout the Sardinera House.
