Mammoth Cafe Melbourne

The idiosyncrasies of a corner block in Melbourne’s Armadale are celebrated through Techne Architecture and Interior Design’s Mammoth Cafe.
A recipe of inspiration was concocted from Wes Anderson, West Coast USA, summer holidays and pop-culture. The interiors – washed in white – open and brighten the space whilst providing a backdrop for a palette of terrazzo, pastels, American oak and cobalt. Functional and diverse dining arrangements capitalise on the irregular floor plan.
As Fantastic Mr Fox noted “We all are different. But there’ something kind of fantastic about that, isn’t there?” each space has an individual personality yet compliments one another creating a beautiful, theatrical composition.
