Modern Sydney… revisited
With an impeccable art collection, enviable harbour-side position and a view to living a comfortable and relaxed life, the owners of this Sydney property enlisted Decus design to realise their vision. With the architecture under the control of Luigi Roselli (the house was originally three separate apartments), Decus set about creating a fresh, refined and approachable palate that would work with, but not detract from the art.
Together with an incredible selection of decorative lighting (the Herve Van der Straeten pendant above the dining table!!), the furniture scheme follows a program of clean lines and functionality with embellishments kept to a bare minimum and as the designer puts it “the spaces are seamlessly configured to handle the needs of an active family of 5 and the occasional cocktail party for 100.” Modern Sydney living at its best!
