Work Life Balance

With the basis of his company founded on a collaborative approach and with the ideal that it takes a range of backgrounds – fine arts, finance, engineering – to produce an interior, Charles Ferrer of FERRER produced this stunning apartment.

Located on Bleeker St in New York City, the space not only shows Ferrer’s deft hand and keen eye for good design, but also doubles as his design studio. Combining work and home can be problematic, but here transition between the two uses is seamless with the overall look being neither exclusively residential nor commercial.

The finishes and furnishings are soft and highly edited with a definite masculine edge. Blues, browns and greys feature heavily with brass details and incredible art giving the apartment understated glamour.
