imperfect Paola Navone DK collection
Design Addicts is excited to introduce the latest collection from Dominique Kieffer by Rubelli. This much-anticipated collection has been created by design legend Paola Navone architect, designer, art director, interior designer, critic and teacher.
In creating the DK collection by Rubelli 2017 Paola Navone has sought to bring out the craft and therefore inevitably imperfect side which is typical of the handmade. She sees imperfection as a quality which, as she says, is a source of inspiration and amusement. So to add further value to an industrial product she has recreated an apparent imperfection which becomes a byword for authenticity.
For the new fabrics, Paola Navone has often taken her inspiration from handiwork, embroidery, artwork and drawings. A total of 13 articles, including three outdoor types, available in colours ranging from the turquoises and greens of the Mediterranean to the pinks already used in the previous collection, with the addition of very many neutrals.
This range is quintessentially Kieffer and Paola Navone – authentic, handmade, imperfect and perfect! Available at South Pacific Fabrics
