London Luxury

When starting a project, the best an interior designer can ask for in any project is well proportioned rooms and good architectural details. This is exactly what was presented to Roselind Wilson Design when being asked to design the interiors of this Belsize Park home in North West London.

The firm describes the client as having international influences that flowed into the strong materials palate – monochromatic, quite masculine and highly textured. Travertine, wonderfully rich timbers, brass accents and dark paintwork are all that is used to create a home that subtly enhances the historic details of the home while at the same time carving out its own unique character.

The furniture used is simple and acts as an extension of the design with similar colours, timbers and stones used to ensure a cohesive design. My favourite feature of the home is the picture shelf in the kitchen. I love the luxury of not having to install storage at every opportunity and being able to have a moment of display simply for the sake of it.
