When dealing with the refurbishment of this old carpenter’s workshop placed located in Barcelona’s Poble Sec neighbourhood, the main goal was to re-design the space for home / studio re-installing the original constructive components such as exposed bricks and beams which give charm and singularity to the home.

The property had multiple light openings and the existence of an inner patio allowed FFWD architects to use translucent glass in the street windows to give the house privacy. The main spaces of the house are visually connected with the courtyard which provides the outdoor connection.
