H10 CASA MIMOSA – Barcelona

In creating a new hotel in Barcelona, Tarruella Trenchs have delivered a project that celebrates the historic character of the building while weaving a modern narrative that not only works to provide a comfortable and inviting space but brings a harmony between old and new.
With the original architectural elements retained, Tarruella Trenchs have designed bespoke furniture and joinery with a subtle yet strong aesthetics to contrast and compliment the building. As the firm describes “The new elements have natural colours and noble materials to provide soberness and comfort in all spaces. Reclaimed elements, originally found in the building, such as: the entrance door, coffered ceilings, marquetry floorings, mouldings, wainscots and fireplaces, create an ambience filled with traditional objects in contrast with new elements.”
With great art & accessories and an amazing courtyard with pool, this hotel is the perfect place for sangria and siestas!
