Among landscape of the Catapilco valley Chile, sits the impressive presence of the Los Molinos House. Designed by RUIZSOLAR architects with double height roof and views towards the surrounding scenery creates the rhythm of the architectural design, which keeps its relationship with its surroundings through inner patios set in different places.
Cloudy winter days are solved with two large windows, which in turn serve as the central axis of the public area of the house. On the other hand, during summer, the vertical- mobile lattice, works as a natural filter for sun rays, providing an illuminated and controlled space in the heat of summer.
Over the second axis, a habitable attic which enjoys the complete inner view of the house. With a triangular window, this secret space captures views over the Southern Valley and can be only accessed through bedrooms 2 and 3, becoming the most quiet space in the house.
