Summitridge Beverly Hills
Marmol Radziner are DA Platform regulars. Their multidisciplinary work is considered, resolved and chic. This Summitridge family home in the Beverly Hills is no exception.
The Summitridge interiors are modern and feminine with strong mid-century modern European influences, based around a primarily neutral color palette of cream, ivory, blush, and violet tones. Swathes of insitu terrazzo floor and golden hues of marble in the bathrooms feel warm and livable.
Soft curves abound, from the mid-century Vladimir Kagan Serpentine sofa and custom Marmol Radziner round parchment coffee table in the living room to the Pierre Paulin mushroom chairs and ottomans in the family room – the decorative elements are timeless classic pieces – no fads here.
I love the way the boundaries of the building are blurred through operable walls of glass – perfect for soaking up the Californian sunshine lifestyle. Sublime!
