Home Run – New York

Starting with a vast loft in New York’s Nolita district, designers Amanda Jesse and Whitney Parris-Lamb were charged with the task of fully renovating the space and creating a family home for their clients that was not only a reflection of their personal style, but also a comfortable space to raise their young daughter.

With two disparate style directions from the husband and wife, the first task for Jesse and Parris-Lamb was to find a common ground that appeased both aesthetics (the husband was drawn to traditional style, while the wife wanted glamour and fun). Vintage furniture pieces mixed with contemporary icons set the tone for the apartment where each room has its own unique character. (I am in serious LOVE with the black office study….!)

The result is a home that is an exciting mix of pieces, colour, texture and style that delivers the perfect balance of luxe and comfort. For the clients, it’s a design home run.
