an ordinary life

Located in Manhwa-ri South Korea this house is just as delicate as it is brutal. Inspired by, “The beauty that is found in ordinary life”, it has a poetic sensibility alive with emotion not found in the surrounding suburban homes.

Designed by Rieuldorang Architects the client brief was to create a home with ample space under the eaves to enjoy activities without being influenced by the weather. The repetition of the main elements was inspired by the repetition of everyday life highlighting the beauty that is an ordinary life. I wish my life was this ordinary !
