forest immersion

The architectural design approach of this residence was born by the topography. The primary aspect of the project was to establish communication with the existing bush, to provide the occupants the feeling of being immersed in the native forest.

Designed by studio arqbox he tectonic design solution is characterized by using raw materials such as concrete which creates a dialogue of purity with the existing wood around the residence. Large openings in the main house, allow direct visual contact with the woodland and access of natural light to the building. In the short-lived places, the use of indirect light was defined by means of skylights, creating an illumination of scenic character.
