integrated surroundings

Conceived to stand out from its neighbouring peers, but still integrating itself with the surroundings, this house Projeto 03 designed by Kiko Salomão is located in the countryside of Bragança Paulista, Brazil. Projeto 03 seems to debunk what we traditionally see from Brazilian architecture and landscaping opting for a more pavilion style that aligns with estates from the Hampton’s.
The house separates living, intimate and service areas into a set of three individual barns, where a disorderly disposition expresses the desire to break from the traditional conception of a country house.
Aiming for a country coziness, the interior design is aligned simultaneously with the architecture and follows a contemporary style seen through rustic lenses, with recycled timber to soften the interior and the no tropical gardens which creep up to the buildings settling the home into the landscape.
