EVOLVE AWARDS- $30,000 prize pool
Are you a design professional that would like to be in he running to take home a prize pool worth over $30,000 AUD including a trip to the Salone del Mobile Milan and your personal rug design to own! Well look no further – Designer Rugs are proud to announce their 4th edition of the EVOLVE AWARDS – with this years awards extending the reach for the first time to Asia. The winning rug designs will form part of Designer Rugs EVOLVE COLLECTION 2019.
To be eligible, entrants must be an architect, interior designer or interior decorator who
are a permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong or Indonesia.

THE BRIEF – Entrants are invited to submit a maximum of three (3) designs intended for a 200 x 300cm or 250xm diameter rug. The designs should be innovative, inspiring and original, suitable for residential and commercial interiors.
If you have never designed a custom rug then I suggest you register for the EVOLVE 2019 workshops that will take place both here in Australia and overseas, with Senior Designer Lia Pielli giving guests the direct opportunity to learn through her insights about how to design and create a commercially viable rug. Each workshop will be mediated by Local Designs creative director Emma Elizabeth, who also has a series of collections with Designer Rugs, along with a guest speaker for each city.
