Mamurbaba House is a family house located on a small plot in ?zmir, Turkey . It was designed to respond to the needs of family whist considering the dynamics of the region, functionality, simplicity and sustainability.
A minimal, simple and transparent style was adopted by Orkun Nayki Architecture without compromising the modern line. The structure is shaped around 2 axes. This fragmentation separates the living and sleeping areas of the dwelling. One of the primary design aims was to strengthen the effect of natural light by providing glass openings at a maximum to encourage as much natural light and connection to the outdoors as possible. The living room, dining area and kitchen have been converted into a single use area and considered as the focal point of the home.
