the Wolf house

Designed for the architect himself Taras Wolf of Wolf Architects; his brief was to create a sustainable home to house his family and the things he loves to collect. Turning a 1949 yellow brick house located in leafy suburb of Chadstone into a commanding  three-story dwelling.  Each level is split into multiple rooms allowing fluid movement through a series of interconnecting spaces rather than clearly defined rooms. Wolf’s passion for cars meant he designed the back of the house to allow him to display his silver 1968 Mercedes 280SL inside which is my favourite design feature, maybe it’s a guy thing but I have just added this to the list of inclusions for my next renovation.
