First look Grace of Monaco and Cartier

Olivier Dahan’s Grace of Monaco features Nicole Kidman as Princess Grace, sparkling in jewellery by Cartier and the long wait will soon be over. The release date has been pushed back several times, but on May 14, leading our Nicole Kidman will ascend the steps of the Palais des Festivals before a screening of the movie, marking the opening of the 67th Cannes Film Festival. Monaco’s royal family are said to be upset with elements of the forthcoming film – and as a result will not attend the premiere.
The family asked for a screening of the film ahead of the premiere, but the film’s producer, Pierre-Ange Le Pogam, refused the request. It ‘s also rumoured that especially Prince Albert is angry about the film. His concern is that Grace is glorified and Prince Rainier is depicted as a weak, one-sided leader, who is controlling over his wife Albert fears the movie vilifies his father.
